"Paranoid was developed out of a jam between me on drums, my friend Anthony on guitar and another friend Kevin on bass. I recorded the jam, and then found a loop of it that I liked alot, and created the song around it. Lots of taped voices, backwards effects, and numerous guitar overdubs were added. This song was mixed repeatedly over a period of about 6 months. Because the basis of it was a poorly recorded jam, it was very difficult to get the balance right."
